We will be heading back to the Nevada Museum of Art. This time for a presentation by SVP of Education and Research, Colin Robertson, on the new Educational and Public School outreach programs.

Colin M. Robertson is the Charles N. Mathewson Senior Vice President of Education and Research at Nevada Museum of Art. He leads the education and research functions of the Museum and works to integrate the Museum’s research work in the Phil and Jennifer Satre Institute for Art + Environment with the Museum’s many educational initiatives. He has expanded the Museum’s school, teacher, and public programs, refined docent and volunteer programs, shaped the Institute for Art + Environment and its triennial Art + Environment Summit, and initiated the ongoing development of the Museum’s STEAM education initiatives. Robertson also curated the exhibitions "Modernist Maverick: The Architecture of William L. Pereira" (2013) and "Seeking an Expression of Place: The Architecture of Lake Tahoe," part of the Museum's 2015 encyclopedic survey, Tahoe: A Visual History. Robertson was formerly the founding director of the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation, a State agency in the Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
