Please join seasoned tech executive, Missy Young and former policy maker and executive director of the Guinn Center, Jill Tolles, for a discussion on the uses, benefits, and risks of AI in business, government and our community.
Missy is a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) with 25+ years’ experience in strategic leadership in technology, setting the overall strategy for enterprise solutions, sales, sustainability, and infrastructure. Focused on high revenue generating business outcomes with a concentration in sustainability. Actively collaborated with the CEO to bring over 700 patents to market. Grew the company from a small startup, took it public in 2017, took it private via acquisition in 2022 for $11 billion.
Jill Tolles is the Executive Director of the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities. She has taught at the University of Nevada since 2005, where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in communication studies. She is on the faculty of the National Judicial College, where she teaches judges from around the nation and the world courtroom management, collaborative decision-making, and procedural fairness. Prior to joining the Guinn Center, Ms. Tolles served three terms in the Nevada Legislature as the Assemblywoman for District 25, where she has served on the Education, Judiciary, Commerce and Labor, and Ways and Means Committees.
