We’re going to more aggressively and more frequently report when governments fail to comply with the Nevada Public Records Act. The feature is called “What Are They Hiding?” It’s a long-overdue Hall of Shame for serial offenders in Nevada governments. When we can’t get answers to questions you want answered, we’ll tell you why, we’ll tell you who’s responsible and we’ll shred their hollow excuses for keeping information from you.

California native Carri Geer Thevenot graduated from CSU, Chico, and first worked as a reporter at the Chico Enterprise-Record. She joined the Review-Journal as a police reporter in 1991, after receiving a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. She then spent most of her reporting career covering courts. In 2016, she became an assistant city editor before being promoted to Metro Editor. She was named Assistant Managing Editor - Metro and Business in January 2023.
