Stephanie Rempe was named Athletic Director at the University of Nevada on June 21, 2022. Rempe oversaw all aspects of one of the country's largest and most successful intercollegiate athletics departments at LSU, serving as the school's Executive Deputy Director of Athletics/Chief Operating Officer since 2019. She has established herself as one of the country's most respected athletics administrators during a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years. Rempe has worked at a senior leadership role at five Division I athletics programs, supervising sports, coaches and department staff. At LSU (2019-present) and Texas A&M (2016-2019), she has served as the Chief Operating Officer where all coaches and staff reported directly to her.
