There are more than 80 types of Sleep Disorders...
And an estimated 70 million Americans who suffer from one or more of those.
The NV IWF is delighted to welcome Tammy Neugebauer, DDS
Dr. Tammy will discuss how dentists are often in the best position to notice signs of sleep-related breathing disorders (and other potential medical issues) at a patient’s annual or semi-annual exam.
Dr. Neugebauer was born and raised in Reno, and graduated from Earl Wooster High School before attending the University of Nevada. She went on to study at Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Neugebauer also trained under her personal mentor Dr. Steven Olmos --an internationally recognized lecturer and researcher, President of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the founder of the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre’s International.
After realizing the tremendous results Dr. Olmos’ protocols produced treating patients who suffer from these disorders, Dr. Tammy joined the other 44 Centers of Excellence spanning 7 countries so she could help her patients as well.
The success of these Centers is based on a whole-system approach, rather than focusing on only one component of the problem in isolation. Multi-discipline referral coordination has allowed Dr. Tammy to provide a team approach to help patients finally find answers and successful treatment results.
Dr. Tammy has implemented these protocols within her dental practice improving her patients’ quality of life.
TMJ and Sleep Therapy Center of Reno is one of 50 TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centers serving patients across the globe.
When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys camping and hiking and other great outdoor activities Reno/Tahoe offers. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
