Please Join Us
for a Drink & Tacos on
Thursday, November 7th!

Beginning at 4:00 p.m.,
please gather at
The Jesse Hotel & Bar,
to hear from owner Piper Stremmel
on the history, renewal and development of
The Jesse and Estella.

The Jesse Hotel & Bar opened June 21, 2019 in a renovated 1907 building that is the former home of the Lincoln Lounge.   The Jesse is focused on comfort, approachability, design, and the authentic Nevada experience. The hotel offers six guest rooms for overnight stay.

Located in the heart of downtown Reno and situated in an intimate, brick building that formerly housed a local coffee roaster, Estella – Tacos y Mezcal, is a lively, modern Mexican cantina specializing in street tacos, salsas, assorted side dishes, mezcal, and mezcal inspired cocktails. Estella’s menu proudly utilizes local ingredients from farms and ranches in the greater northern Nevada area.

Piper, the daughter of our own NV IWF member, Turkey Stremmel, is a graduate of USC and the Sotheby’s Institute of Art and has international hospitality experience with the Ritz Carlton.  Piper is also a published author and wrote Shanghai Chefs:  A Cookbook

In addition to hearing about the project development, we’ll sample tacos and one signature drink from Estella and we will tour one of the hotel rooms (subject to occupancy on that day).

Don't miss this opportunity to partake in a full sensory authentic Nevada experience as we hear some history, see how old became new again, and taste the locally grown ingredients!

We’ll see you there!
