Jeremy Aguero is a principal analyst with Applied Analysis, a leading economic, fiscal and policy research firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. A fourth-generation Las Vegas resident, Aguero undertook a special course of undergraduate study at UNLV under the late Dr. Shannon Bybee and graduated with honors from the William S. Boyd School of Law.  Aguero started his career as an intern/analyst with Coopers & Lybrand’s (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers’) financial advisory services group. He founded Applied Analysis in 1997.

Aguero’s 19-year work history demonstrates a wide range of abilities. He has performed countless economic and fiscal impact assessments for projects of local, regional and national significance. Some of his major projects include The Hospitality Industry’s Impact on the State of Nevada, delivered to the Federal Gaming Impact Study Commission in 1998. In 2003, he chaired the Governor’s Task Force on Tax Policy’s technical working group, co-authoring its 1,400-page report and ultimately receiving a Good Government Award from the Nevada Taxpayers Association.

Aguero has worked on establishing Applied Analysis’ litigation support practice; expanding the reach of the company’s primary research arm, Discovery Nevada; restructuring the recently acquired SalesTraq brand; and, in 2014, launching Applied Analysis’ online data tracking and analysis application, MyResearcher.com.

More recently, Aguero acted as lead staff for the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee. The committee’s 16-months of public hearing ultimately culminated in a Special Session of the Nevada State Legislature where Senate Bill 1 paved the way for a $1.9 billion NFL stadium and $1.4 billion convention center expansion and Assembly Bill 1 provided increase funding for police officers within the regions tourism corridor and throughout southern Nevada. At the bill signing Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval said of Aguero’s work, “Jeremy, you can always be counted upon for honest, accurate, and concise information that we can take to the bank, and I appreciate it.”

Aguero is also active in the community. He has taught hotel law and data for policy analysis as distinguished professor of practice at UNLV and he currently serves on the board of Nevada State Bank. In addition to serving on the R&R Foundation board, Aguero is the treasurer of Nevada Child Seekers and chairman of Opportunity Village’s ARC Board. He has been honored as the Hispanic of Year by the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce and Alumni of the Year by the Boyd School of Law. A father of three children, Aguero also coaches youth baseball and soccer.

Brian Burton is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, and he holds a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brian’s career began as a controller for Centex Homes, but quickly evolved into humanitarian work after serving as an associate pastor at a Baptist church in Dallas, Texas.  He then served for 14 years as Executive Director at the Wilkinson Center, a faith-based nonprofit organization lifting people out of poverty through education and emergency services.

Brian relocated from Dallas to Las Vegas in April of 2011 to become President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank.  Since his arrival, Brian has helped Three Square develop into one of the fastest growing food banks in the nation.  With his strong leadership and passionate vision for a hunger-free community, Southern Nevada’s only food bank has established itself as a trailblazer in the field of food sourcing and distribution.

In 2018, Three Square distributed more than 39 million meals, the equivalent of more than 47 million pounds of food and grocery product.  Three Square works with a service network of nearly 1,400 community partners including nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites, which help Three Square serve more than 164,000 individuals monthly.

Now in its eleventh year, Three Square, which has been in operation since 2007, is a member of Feeding America, a national network of member food banks that engage our country in the fight to end hunger.

When Brian is not working, he enjoys writing, reading, bird-watching, traveling, and hiking up Mt. Charleston.

Dr. Trudy Larson is currently serving on Governor Sisolak's COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee.  She is a Professor and founding Dean of the newly independent School of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a member of the NV IWF. Leading a school dedicated to public health and improving community health extends her passion for improving health for all.

Her primary areas of interest have been HIV/AIDS and immunizations. Prior to this appointment she was a professor in the department of pediatrics and former chair and associate dean at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.

Dr. Larson is past chair of the Nevada Donor Network Board, oversees the Organ and Tissue Donor program at the UNR School of Medicine, is a board member at Northern Nevada HOPES and is active on the Nevada Public Health Foundation board.

Dr. Larson received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. She completed a Pediatric residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center followed by a fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at UCLA and has been at the University of Nevada, Reno since 1984.
