Bio
As a child, I was curious and exploratory, with adventurous tendencies. I enjoyed Art and Science, particularly the Arts, however, I decided upon entering college that I would major in science and attend medical school, which I did. After all medical training, I decided upon the specialty of Ophthalmology (MD Eye Surgeon) with a sub-specialty in cornea transplantation and general cornea care, though I continued also with general eye medical and surgical practice including cataracts, glaucoma, etc. I was engaged with many types of chronic disease in my practice.
While I am grateful for over two decades of success in the conventional medical world - I continued my exploration of 'out of the box' thinking and expansion into holistic health at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of our being. Eventually I sold my medical practice, spent some time also in neuroscience and personal growth applications in leadership development, and ultimately went back into medical training in Functional Medicine, which I currently practice primarily as a telehealth provider in my states of licensure.
At this time in my life, I am focused more on picking up again my love of The Arts, Nature, Music, Cooking, Storytelling (writing, reading, movies) Travel (currently not traveling as much for now) and whatever my heart desires without pressure or being excessively 'busy'.
Friendship and healthy relationships are also a priority and I look forward to my new IWF Nevada home and keeping in touch with other friends and communities as well.
