Bio
Ingrid Reisman is the vice president of transportation for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA), where she oversees operations and sponsorship activities for the Las Vegas Monorail and the LVCVA’s internal Vegas Loop system. She also manages all e-commerce and revenue generation and optimization activities including fare setting, marketing and PR strategy for the Las Vegas Monorail, and is the liaison with local and federal agencies and representatives on transportation-related topics.
Before joining the LVCVA, she spent 15 years as the senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the Las Vegas Monorail Company, where she was responsible for all revenue-generating and activities for the unique system in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to strategic planning and partnership development and negotiations, she oversaw all marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives, including sponsorship sales in the form of train wraps and station takeovers. She also concepted the modification of the system’s traditional ‘mag-stripe’ ticket system into a fully functional ecommerce system several years before electronic ticketing was offered in transit, making the Monorail the first train system to be able to seamlessly integrate transit passes into convention and event badges and tickets, including QR, NFC and RFID.
She previously served as the marketing, public information and Transportation Demand Management (TDM) manager for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), where she was responsible for all communications efforts and was part of a successful bond initiative for transportation funding. She has also worked as a consultant in public relations/public affairs and pitched, created and managed several key accounts and numerous award-winning campaigns. She began her career in advertising, as both an account executive and media buyer.
