Bio
Paula Francis is well known to long-time Las Vegans. She was a respected on-air journalist for 30 years.
Paula was chosen "Best TV Anchor in Las Vegas" by the readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal more than 15 times. She is a proud member of the KLAS-TV Hall of Fame. During her induction, station leaders called her "the face and in many ways, the conscience" of the newsroom.
Paula's proudest accomplishment has been serving as a role model to young broadcast journalists. She loves to hear young people tell her, "I've been watching you all my life!”
Paula is a Founding Member of the Nevada Chapter of the International Women’s Forum.
Now retired, Paula serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit news source, “The Nevada Independent.”
Paula and her husband Stephen split their time between the mild winters of Nevada and the mild summers of Wisconsin. They share a love of bicycling, hiking, travel and photography.
